MONTANA WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER – CLIFF SIDE ROMANCE IN MAUI, WEDDING IN BILLINGS MONTANA

Kalli and Bridger’s big day is only one week away and I’m excited to start celebrating with them this week as the bridal party arrives for bachelor and bachelorette parties, a bridal shower, rehearsal dinner, the wedding, the day after brunch, and finally a honeymoon session at Disney World! It’s going to be a busy week of celebration and I can’t wait to photograph all of it!

Before things get too hectic I want to share a few photos from our cliff side adventure in Maui Hawaii. Kalli and Bridger are Montanans, so they had no problem getting up before sunrise, driving 30 minutes North to the rocky coast and hiking to this location that I had pre-scouted a few days before. The rocky shore is really beautiful with waves crashing everywhere and crazy cliffs. This place is known as “the blowhole,” named after a hole in the rocks that shoots water into the sky when waves crash below. But we were there to see the beautiful seascape at sunrise and waves crashing behind a heart shaped hole in the rock. Mother nature rewarded our hard work and we have these amazing photos to remember the even more amazing experience we had. MONTANA WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER – #TBT MAUI ENGAGEMENT SESSION

This is one of my favorite photos of Kalli and Bridger engulfed by the lush colors of Maui, Hawaii.  I love the eye contact and expression from Kalli, she looks like the goddess of the garden!  Maui is filled with flowers and romance, so these two madly in love amidst the flowers just sums up Maui perfectly for me.  Of course Maui is also all about beaches, seafood and cold beverages, but that’s too much for one photo!  Thank you Kalli and Bridger for an amazing time in Maui, and I can’t wait for the wedding in June!  See more from our trip to Maui here.

MONTANA WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER – HAPPY VALENTINE’S DAY!!!

Happy Valentine’s day!  Whether you have a special someone or not, it’s a good day to celebrate LOVE!  Love can be difficult to write about and I find that words rarely do the trick for me.  But a photo of love can instantly bring back the feeling of being in love.  Like this one of the two lovebirds, Kalli and Bridger amidst the flowers in Maui. They look totally oblivious to the world going on around them, focused only on each other.  That’s the power of love.

My favorite quote about love is from Dr. Seuss, “You know you’re in love when you can’t fall asleep, because reality is finally better than your dreams.”  I know that I am in love because my reality is way better than I could have ever dreamed.  My wife is my soul mate and our life together is like a vacation every day with my best friend.  Sometimes I can’t sleep at night just thinking about how lucky I am to get to wake up and live my life with her.  Valentine’s day is special for us because Nini finally agreed to go out with me on February 8, seven years ago, just in time for Valentine’s day.  Thank you Nini, I love you dearly!  Happy seventh Valentine’s day!

MONTANA WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER – EPIC MAUI ENGAGEMENT!

Kalli and Bridger took us on an epic engagement session in Maui!  Kalli’s parents showed my wife and I all over Maui and made us feel right at home on the island.  We went on adventures every day, from a sunrise hike on the rugged Northeast coast to shopping at Louis Vuitton.  We spent most of our time on the Ka’anapali shores but covered three different coasts and the mountainous Iao valley interior.  The views were stunning at every turn and the food, especially the fresh fish, has my mouth watering just thinking about it.  Maui is beautiful and inspiring, but the most refreshing part of the trip was just hanging out with an awesome family that has fun everywhere they go.  Thank you to the Sizemores for sharing your vacation with us!

We did so much on this trip it almost sounds crazy in retrospect!  We went snorkeling (a lot), parasailing, a sunset cruise, a luau, a few hikes on the rugged coast, delicious meals, shopping at all of the nicest stores, and playing around on the beach/poolside all day and night!  In the midst of it all, we made some engagement artwork for Kalli and Bridger.  Stay tuned to Kalli and Bridger's website for more updates: http://www.bridgerandkalli.paulbellinger.com
